SearchWiki – Google Becoming Social

It’s just two days but may be already you noticed Google results coming with two buttons “promote” and “Remove”. What is that ?

Google launched SearchWiki at 20th November, they called “make search your own”.

Have you ever wanted to mark up Google search results? Maybe you’re an avid hiker and the trail map site you always go to is in the 4th or 5th position and you want to move it to the top. Or perhaps it’s not there at all and you’d like to add it. Or maybe you’d like to add some notes about what you found on that site and why you thought it was useful. Starting today you can do all this and tailor Google search results to best meet your needs.

SearchWiki lets user to put notes for links, and you can see other’s note by clicking “See all notes for this SearchWiki” at bottom of the search results page.

Quite interesting, Google going to take the market of digg/delicious ?

Loreum Ipsum Effects! So funny…

… “Summarizing, then, we assume that the fundamental error of regarding functional notions as categorial is necessary to impose an interpretation on the extended c-command discussed in connection with (34). We will bring evidence in favor of the following thesis: a descriptively adequate grammar is not quite equivalent to the levels of acceptability from fairly high (eg (99a)) to virtual gibberish (eg (98d)).”

Got what that means? …before you jumped and start brainstorming, wait a minute. Visit here, watch out and follow this

In short, for those lazy one: The Chomskybot is a program that generates paragraphs which appear similar to those in the corpus of Noam Chomsky’s linguistic works, but are humorously devoid of any meaning, by combining at random phrases taken from Chomsky’s actual works. The Chomskybot is derived from another program called Foggy, which originally generated “fake” managerese —i.e., the language of business management. The phrases from Chomsky were originally collected by John F. Sowa, the program was redesigned by Anthony Aristar and John Lawler, and the Perl version was written by Kevin McGowan.

An example of the Chomskybot‘s output was given above 😉

You know ABUSE always a bad word, mistakenly I put that text on some forum, the effect was so funny that I could not resist me to not to post here, check bellow:

All these happened due to misunderstanding and I’d hope that all of you would just take it as fun, and laughing out loud
