PDF makes life easier, but the viewer sometimes make it hard to read in shorten time!

Not all computer has Acrobat Reader or other PDF viewer Installed. The size of Acrobat Reader not that small, even it’s loading time kind a slow, the splash screen somewhat annoying! Though I can’t remove Acrobat Reader from my required software list, but Foxit Reader helps a lot.

‘মাটির ময়না’-র DVD ভার্সন বের হয়েছে ১৬ই এপ্রিল, ২০০৫-এ। এটা বাংলাদেশে প্রথম রিলিজ পেয়েছিল ২০০৩ সালে। কিন্তু মজার ব্যাপার হল ‘মাটির ময়না’, “Cannas Film Festival, FIPRESCI International Critics’ Prize for Best Film” পুরষ্কার জেতে ২০০২ সালে। এর কারণ আমাদের মহামতি ‘সেন্সর বোর্ড’। তেনারা ইহাকে সেন্সর সার্টিফিকেট দেন নাই। কারণ হিসাবে বলা হয়, “ধর্মীয় স্পর্শকাতরতা”। পরে এ নিয়ে পিটিশন হয় এবং আদালতের অনুকূল রায় পেয়ে ‘মাটির ময়না’ মুক্তি পায়?

I removed the Bangla blog and merged it to this one.

I noticed personally that this year SPAMMERS taking new approach to sent spam, they were able to pass the ‘wall’ and get into many inbox! Last year there was a large number of RAID from FBI and such agents, they down a lot server and warez groups/community, but there was some continues attacks from some hacker-cracker groups. Specially, Forum/Web-Applications were attacked which had some security holes…It’s a regular story though.

There happened a “kind of thing you pray never happens”, it is Wordpress hacked by a cracker who changed two files in the WordPress 2.1.1, put some code which would allow for remote PHP execution!

ফ্রেব্রুয়ারির শেষের দিন ডাউনলোড করে ইনস্টল করলাম ওয়ার্ডপ্রেস ২.১.১, মেঘদূত বাংলা ওয়ার্ডপ্রেস ইমপ্লিমেন্ট করলাম। কিন্তু আজকে সময় পেলাম এটার একটা হিল্লে করার। গত দু’দিন বড়ই ব্যস্ততা গেল, ওমা, আজকে ব্লগের খেরোখাতা-য় দেখি ওয়ার্ডপ্রেস ২.১.১ সিকিউরিটি অ্যালার্ট! আপডেট করলাম (ওয়ার্ডপ্রেস ২.১.২), টুকটাক সাজালাম, ‘জরিপ’ চালু করলাম।

আরো টুকটাক পরিবর্তন করবো, ভাবছি নতুন একটা থিম তৈরি করবো, বাংলা লেখা ভালো দেখায় এমন। লিখন, সিয়াম রুপালি বা ওরকম ‘বড়’ গ্লিফের বাংলা ফন্ট ছাড়া নয়তো বাংলা লেখা পড়তে কষ্ট হয়, অথচ CSS এডিট করলে যে কোন ফন্টেই পড়ার মত বাংলা দেখানো যেতে পারে।
